The builder wants to know what to do, how to do it, and how much of it to do… and he wants an equitable contract that minimises risk and keeps him in business.

Win the heart of your builder's estimator and you win yourself a happy contract.

This seminar looks at what worked well, where, and what did not work and why. It draws on many years of experience working on the country's finest buildings, for the most enlightened owners and the best of professionals: architects, engineers and quantity surveyors.

What do you want to do...? Why do you want to do it...? How do you want it done...? How much of it do you want done...?

Clear answers to these questions are essential before preparing the tender documentation:

Bills of Quantities, Schedules of Works or Quantified Schedules of Work

The Specification of Workmanship and Materials

The SMM and the NBS

Pre-contract consultancy and the consultant contractor

The pre-contract budget price and cost control during the contract Liability, responsibility and accountability.
