The RIBA Yorkshire Student Awards are given each year to celebrate the talent of exceptional architecture students in the region and to reward excellence in the study of architecture. Undergraduate and postgraduate work from architecture students at Leeds Metropolitan University, University of Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam University and Huddersfield University will be displayed at Hepworth Point, Leeds Metropolitan University from 23 – 27 June 2008 and the work judged to be the best will be awarded at a ceremony to be held there on 26 June. The design projects entered are picked at their end of year shows to go forward to RIBA Yorkshire for final judging. Showcase the best new talent in the region’s architecture schools, they make up a fantastic visual display. The exhibition will open to the public from 10am to 9pm, Monday 23 June to Wednesday 25 June and on Friday 27 June. It will be closed for judging on 26 June.
