A SERIES of windbreaks could be installed at the 32-storey Bridgewater Place in Leeds to allow it to be protected from dangerous gales.

The  northern entrance to the building has been closed on several occasions this year following strong winds which have created a safety hazard for the building's users.

TheBusinessDesk.com reported earlier this year how the building's developers, Landmark Developments and St James Securities, were working with builders Bovis Lend Lease and the Building Research Environment to find ways to ease the wind problems which have been caused by the construction of the building.
